All Marlow White products are backed by our superior customer service
We recommend that you order your uniform at least 4 weeks before your event to allow for order processing, shipping, and final tailoring. Uniforms are delivered untailored, and all patches, hems, and final alterations must be completed locally before the uniform is worn.
Superior service uniform for the uncompromising professional
The Army Green Service Uniform from Marlow White blends the classic styling of the past with thoughtful upgrades to better meet the demands of the professional and career Soldier. From our improved patterns to the internal details you will never see, every element is refined beyond the basic issue uniform, with a focus on comfort, durability, fewer alterations, and long-term wear.
Our uniforms are specifically designed to fit better on the professional Soldier, with broader shoulders and more muscular arms and legs while standard issue uniforms are designed to fit the basic trainee without the benefits of a disciplined fitness regimen.
Marlow White is the only provider offering two premium, Natick-certified fabric options for the AGSU: an elegant mid-weight Serge or a robust Elastique. We also offer more size and fit options than any other uniform provider, allowing Soldiers to achieve a sharper appearance with fewer alterations.
Marlow White uniforms look better because of our expertise. For decades, we have fitted tens of thousands of Soldiers in our retail stores. That real-world tailoring experience is built directly into our patterns and manufacturing process, resulting in uniforms that fit and look better from day one. The lapels lay smoothly across the chest, the waist is more tailored to eliminate bunching on the sides and back, and modified shoulders increase upper-arm mobility, allowing you to move naturally throughout the day.
We have paid meticulous attention to the functional details. We redesigned the interior pocket to keep essentials secure while preventing interference with the waist belt. Inside the coat, a more breathable acetate lining helps manage heat, keeping you comfortable during long duty days, inspections, and formal events.
If there is an Army leader you respect, there is a good chance they wear a Marlow White uniform. Order the AGSU package today and experience the Marlow White Higher Standard in service uniform craftmanship.

Questions & Answers
For the Enlisted Package. Do the Ranks come sewn onto the short sleeve, long sleeve and coat?
Question by: LUIS MARTINEZ on Aug 7, 2025, 11:57 AM
At this time, we only offer rank attachment on shirts, both short sleeve and long sleeve. The coat does not come with patches attached.
We recently launched our MW Fitting App, available on the Apple Store and Google Play. As we gather more data on the app’s fit accuracy, patch attachment is currently limited to shirts only. We plan to expand this service as confidence in the app’s precision continues to grow.
Please note that patch attachment is only available on individually ordered shirts. If you would like the shirts in your package to have patches attached, just email us your order number at [email protected], and our team will assist you. Note there will be additional fees with patch attachment.

What do the measurement options for the long-sleeve shirt mean, and how do I find mine?
I checked the Measurements page and it was not helpful.

The neck determines the size (ie.15 or 15.5) & the sleeve length is from the neck, down the shoulder, and to the wrist bone (32/33, 34/35). We also have How to Measure Videos. https://www.marlowwhite.com/how-to-measure

We want to get our son the AGSU package but need to know about getting him measured. There is a Clothing Sales in our local PX at Redstone Arsenal. Can they do the measurements, or do we need to find a local tailor?
Question by: Lindy Stuart on Mar 17, 2025, 12:18 PM
We recommend choosing a convenient and local option for measurements. If that’s the PX, they should be able to assist you—just call ahead to confirm availability. A local tailor is also a great option.
For sizing, we only need the neck, arm length, chest, waist, and hip measurements. Any tailor, whether on or off post, should be able to provide these easily.

I am going to order the AGSU package for my son. When selecting the jacket, I am asked to choose between two fabrics, elastique or serge. What is the difference between the two? Does it make a difference? Which is the preferred fabric choice?
Question by: Lindy Stuart on May 27, 2025, 5:11 PM
Great question!
The key difference is in the weight and weave of the fabric. Elastique is a heavier, double-weave blend of polyester and wool, which helps it hold its shape better and resist wrinkles. Serge, on the other hand, is a lighter, single-weave fabric. While more lightweight, it doesn’t have the same structure or wrinkle resistance as elastique.

I will be ordering the male AGSU commissioning package for my son. My question refers to the AGSU jacket. My son measured 40R at the tailor and has an athletic built. What is the difference between the body type A and AA listed? He wants a slim fit through the stomach and waist. Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.
Question by: Charles M on Jan 29, 2024, 12:58 PM
There is no difference between the body types A & AA.
A stands for Athletic cut not physique, which is an 8 in difference between the Chest & waist. Anything less than an 8 inch difference, we would advise a Classic cut-C body type.
