Marlow White's swords and sabers have ceremonial blades. As such, they are built to strict military regulations to be used in drills, ceremonies, and displays. These blades are of the highest quality but are not sharpened for use as a weapon.
Ceremonial Sword Plaque
- Handmade locally in Kansas
- Solid Cherry, Red Oak, Black Walnut, or Mahogany Stained Birch
- Professionally carved L-slot allows stud-secure mounting with the ability to shift plaque to meet desired placement
- Satin Lacquer finish
- Optional laser-etched nameplate available
- Sabers in pictures not included
We think this is the best value on the market. Our clear lacquer finish is applied to 100% solid wood, enhancing the natural wood color and characteristics. We do not stain pressed board.
Please note, as this is a handmade item, the appearance of the wood grain will vary from the images displayed and will reflect the character of the particular wood piece. Lacquer cherry will also naturally darken over time. Our plaques are as unique as the tree from which they are made. Distinctive markings and natural color variations will occur on these plaques. While each piece of hardwood is unique, there will not be any major knots, cracks, or sapwood showing on the face of the plaque.
I have a 30in Marine NCO Sword. What would look better a 40in or 44in plaque?
Question by: Alexander on Jun 22, 2021, 5:47 PM
You could use either plaque for a 30" blade, however, the 44" plaque is more popular for this size.

I have my father’s ceremonial sword from the USCGA class of 1950 and would like to display it. I measure his sword at 36 inches, not 34 or less. Or is the measurement only the blade length? Will a display plaque of 44” work?
Question by: Eileen on Jun 15, 2020, 12:01 PM
The size is based on blade length. 30" or less blade length would be best on a 40" plaque. More than a 30" blade would be best on the 44" plaque.

Do you expect to get new stock in of the 44 in Walnut? Or has that wood option been discontinued?
Question by: Kevin on Sep 2, 2020, 10:00 AM
Due to COVID, we are experiencing some manufacturing delays and may not have all of the options in stock at this time, but we do plan to continue to carry all of the color options.
