USN & USCG Officer Sword Knot

USN and USCG Sword Knot

I have a US Naval officer sword that had some water damage as a result of Hurricane Michael. The sword it self has corroded a bit and the knot has seen better days. Is there a means of cleaning both the sword to get rid of the corrosion and the knot from the salt water damage.

Unfortunately, this is beyond our ability to repair and clean. However, we have a contact we do recommend for sword repairs and questions. His name is Tom Nardi and he can be reached via email here: [email protected]

We recommend sending him photos of what you have and he would be able to advise you on the damage and what repairs/cleaning is possible without risking futher damage.

Marlow White's swords and sabers have ceremonial blades. As such, they are built to strict military regulations to be used in drills, ceremonies, and displays. These blades are of the highest quality but are not sharpened for use as a weapon.
