Should I order an insert grommet that is the same size as my AGSU service cap in order to stiffen the cap & properly make it rigid ?

Correct, the AGSU Service cap does need to have the same size Grommet insert to create the proper shape for it to stand up verses the "Crushed Cap" look.

Will the Insert Grommet, AGSU Service Cap work with the ASU Service Cap, if so will the size match?

The grommet is made for the AGSU Service Caps only and unable to interchange with the ASU Service Cap.
