Marlow White's swords and sabers have ceremonial blades. As such, they are built to strict military regulations to be used in drills, ceremonies, and displays. These blades are of the highest quality but are not sharpened for use as a weapon.

I am a parent, how do I know what blade length to order?
Often parents and/or grandparents want to order these custom swords for their Cadet as a gift. Without measuring, the best way to determine the needed blade length is to use the Cadet's height. Please see the table opposite for general sizing.
How is the VTCC custom saber different from other sabers listed on the Marlow White website?
The VTCC custom saber has a unique blade design personalized for both the Corps of Cadets as well as the Cadets themselves. While the sword itself meets the current standards and regulations as those needed for the various military branches, the blade etch includes iconic buildings and statues found on the Virginia Tech campus. In addition, the blade etch includes personalized information such as the Cadet's graduation year, their company, and their name.
Where should I ship my sword?
Swords should be shipped to the cadet's address on the Virginia Tech campus.
Why is the VTCC custom saber more expensive than the regulated military branch saber?
These sabers are truly a special order item for both Marlow White and our manufacturer, WKC. Each blade is hand-crafted specifically for your Cadet. This process is timely, thus adding to the cost of the saber. Our stock sabers are ordered in much higher numbers and are not personalized, which reduces their cost considerably.
