Marlow White's swords and sabers have ceremonial blades. As such, they are built to strict military regulations to be used in drills, ceremonies, and displays. These blades are of the highest quality but are not sharpened for use as a weapon.
New US Navy CPO Cutlass Design
On 25 January 11, the Navy Uniform Board (NUB) sent out a uniform board update outlining a CPO cutlass design. This cutlass has many unique design descriptions and has been authorized for wear since August, 2011.
Does Marlow White carry this new cutlass? Yes, we closely followed the Navy Uniform Boards guidelines to create a ceremonial cutlass of the highest quality.
Can I modify my older WKC cutlass to the new design? Unfortunately there are some design differences that prevent converting WKC's previous USN CPO cutlass to the new design.
Does Marlow White have the cutlass belt, shoulder strap, and throg? We are still developing these items and expect them to be available early in 2012.
