Retired Service Identification Badge: The pin-on badge is worn on the Army Service and Mess Uniforms after officially retired from the US Army. Only full size offered; miniature size not available.
We also carry the Soldier for Life (SFC) lapel buttons for Veterans and Retired Soldiers for wear on their civilian clothing.
Retired Soldiers who have already purchased the U.S. Army Retired ID Badge for their ASUs may continue to wear it or purchase and wear the new SFL Retired ID Badge.
The Retired Service ID Badge is ranked last in order of precedence, behind all other ID badges.
Questions
Is there a badge for the 2nd Armored Division in the works. I was with 2-1 Cavalry Regt in Vietnam & we were never reasigned to 4th Inf Div, as a result the Combat Patch for 2-1 Cav in Vietnam is the 2AD.
