Marlow White has set up this page as a resource for Public Health Service Officers who are looking for information pertaining to the Dinner Dress Blue Jacket Uniform. It is meant to augment the Public Health Service Uniform Regulations.
The DDB Jacket Uniform is a year-round uniform worn for official functions when civilians normally wear black tie. May be prescribed for senior grade officer and above.
Items which can be required by the Local Uniform Authority (or LUA; e.g., agency, command, etc.). Unless required or prohibited by the LUA, the items are considered optional and can be worn at the discretion of the individual.
