In 2008, the Army began a historic uniform change to the Army Service Uniform. The goal was to simplify and consolidate the number of uniforms that Soldiers would have to maintain. The old uniform was based upon the Dress Green, the new was comprised of the Dress Blue.

We carry a full line of the Army Service Uniform (ASU), in both the Class A and Class B configurations. During this transition, if you would like to stay informed we recommend that you sign up for our Army Uniform Newsletter.

Transition Timeline:

  • Now – ASU authorized for wear
  • Q4 2014 – Mandatory possession date
